"How Nature Instructs Us" Exhibit Opening Reception
Start Date: 6/7/2018Start Time: 5:30 PM
End Date: 6/7/2018End Time: 7:30 PM

Event Description:

Participating artist Jane Marsching invites visitors to voice the call of the Eskimo Curlew based on written descriptions during a reception for the exhibit How Nature Instructs Us.

The Suffolk University Art Gallery presents this exhibit through July 5. It features works that are part of a chorus of concern about environmental issues, especially climate change, from artists and citizens worldwide.

The artists in the How Nature Instructs Us show use their work to express both their critique and hope for our future. They are part of a lineage of artists, writers, and scientists who have been doing so since the nineteenth century.

Participating artists:
Heather Theresa Clark with Gretjen Helene and Scott Jansson
Madge Evers
Peat Duggins
Jane Marsching
Nathalie Miebach
Allison Maria Rodriguez
Evelyn Rydz
