All Day Online Course Design Institute
Faculty are invited to participate in the 4-week Online Course Design Institute. The OCDI is recommended for faculty who are preparing to teach an online course, interested in learning about developing an online course, or who may already be teaching an online course but would like to incorporate some additional online teaching and learning strategies. This interactive, online workshop has been redesigned to align with the research-based Quality Matters rubric. The OCDI runs Sep 18 - Oct 13.

Got a new product idea and want to know what to do with it? Meet Professor Bhatia during  “Innovation Hour” in his office to discuss going from Idea to Execution (I2E) .

Professor Sushil Bhatia is an Executive in Residence in the Management and Entrepreneurship Department. Bhatia is an innovator/inventor/entrepreneur holding several patents and has innovated and launched products like Glue Stic, DeCopier, convention badges, binding systems, labels, software, office, and other packaging products.

Join us for a workshop dedicated to preventing burnout in this age of non-stop activity. Self care is a radical, feminist act and is imperative to doing social justice work. This workshop will guide you through creating a personal self care plan to best allocate your time and energy towards causes you care about and empower you to put yourself high up on your priority list so you can best serve others as well. 

Let's create a socially just world and take care of ourselves in the process!

Jennifer Pullen and Erik Sayce started a late night cookie shop in Salem Massachusetts motivated to make some extra money to help pay for their upcoming wedding. To their surprise, the community voted in a big way, and soon after launching, they found themselves with a line out the door. Join Jen and Erik as they reflect back on their first year in business and share the ups and downs of bootstrapping a venture with a significant other. Today Goodnight Fatty has a permanent location, several employees, and a manufacturing facility under construction, all without any capital investment beyond $1,200, initially on a personal credit card.
