Constitution Day: Constitutional & International Perspectives on Immigration
Start Date: 9/17/2014Start Time: 12:00 PM
End Date: 9/17/2014End Time: 1:00 PM

Event Description:
Both the U.S. Constitution and international relations shape our immigration laws.  To those involved, the intermix is a familiar but bizarre bramblebush of hypertechnical rules in a Kafkaesque landscape.  Most other people, however, know no more than their own emotions, fueled by shameless disinformation for political gain.

This workshop will help clarify common misperceptions and present current theories of how the country and the rest of the world may wish to manage the ancient human practice of migration.

Discussion hosted by Government Department Associate Professor, Allan Tow.

*WILL BE HELD IN SARGENT - CLASSROOM 265*
