The Ethics of Humanitarian Response focuses on the international response to crises originating from natural disasters and conflict-zones as implemented by contemporary aid operations; how they are observed through the diverse global governance structure, NGOs, and state institutions; how conflict analysis has been fashioned by the history of policy-related humanitarianism; and how today’s approaches can be justified by reasoned argument or invalidated by the practical problems encountered.
