Event Description:
All services for the Center for Learning and Academic Success (CLAS) start this week!

We offer:

  • Peer Tutoring--Peer and professional tutors are trained to assist students with a wide range of expertise in math, business, science, technology, engineering and liberal arts courses.
  • Study Groups--The Study Group program provides informal drop-in group sessions for business, science, technology, engineering and liberal arts courses that students typically find challenging.
  • Academic Coaching--Like athletic coaches, they guide, encourage, and challenge students as they work toward their goals.
  • English and Writing support--Private consultations are offered by both peer and professional tutors. In addition, students who are non-native English speakers may take advantage of intensive English classes, workshops, individual tutorials, and self-study materials.
  • Math Drop-In Help--Peer and professional tutors will be available for individual and small group tutoring, on a drop in basis, for course content in all freshmen level mathematics and some statistics courses.
  • Academic Workshops--Academic skills workshops are offered weekly in the center.
  • NESAD services--The center provides on-site tutoring services through our satellite office at the School of Art & Design

These services are FREE for Suffolk students. Please stop by our new Center for Learning and Academic Success (CLAS) to learn more about our services. You can also call 617-573-8235 to schedule appointments with our tutors and coaches, or get a copy of our workshop/study group/drop-in schedules.

We are located in the Stahl Building, 73 Tremont Street, on the second level of the library (right up the stairs--follow the signs!)
