9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Dedicated On-Campus Writing Day

Dedicated On-Campus Writing Day
Location: Linnehan Conference Room, 13th floor of 73 Tremont Stahl Building
There is a morning session from 9am-12pm and an afternoon session from 1-4pm 

The CTSE hosts Dedicated On-Campus Writing Days. This is a time for faculty writers to dive into writing projects with concentrated time, effort, and support. This session will help you keep the momentum going with your writing projects. We'll provide the space, and peace of mind - you provide the words. Choose to attend a morning session, an afternoon session, or stay for the whole day! 


9am-12pm: write, write, write (coffee and tea will be provided throughout the morning)

12-1pm: Break for lunch (bring your own) or keep writing, take a walk, or chat with colleagues

1-4pm: write, write, write OR schedule time to have a peer review your writing (coffee tea, and some light refreshments will be provided throughout the afternoon)


* Just a reminder that Dedicated On-Campus Writing Days are structured; you need to arrive before 9am to minimize disruptions to others. Writing days are also dedicated quiet spaces for you to do your writing! *

9:00 AM - 7:00 PM Haymarket, the Soul of the City - Photo Exhibit
Haymarket, Boston’s outdoor food market, has served a constant stream of longtime residents, newly arrived immigrants, students, and tourists since the first half of the nineteenth century. 

Historic New England has partnered with the Haymarket Pushcart Association to document the Haymarket’s people and life through photographs by Justin H. Goodstein and oral histories gathered by curator Ken Turino.

The Adams Gallery presents an exhibit of 43 photographs and a video capturing the sights and sounds of the four seasons at the Haymarket.

The curators will be on hand to discuss the exhibit from from 5:30 to 7:30 PM on Thursday June 25.

The Haymarket  documentary will premiere at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 8, at the Modern Theatrefollowed by a talk-back led by Suffolk Professor and History Department Chair Robert Allison. 
Free tickets for the film may be reserved online.

All events are free and open to the public. 

5:00 PM Interior Architecture Graduate Show (Multi-Day Event)
You’re invited to the 2015 MA Interior Architecture Summer Graduate Show, running until July 30th in the 2nd floor gallery at NESAD, 75 Arlington Street.
Please join us for a reception, July 15th from 5-7pm in the gallery to celebrate the work of our graduating students. Come get a slice of pizza and say hello!
5:00 PM - 7:00 PM LIVE Political Happy Hour with Joshua Miller
Ever wonder what the governor might say if you met him out for a drink? Join Boston Globe political reporter Joshua Miller as he chats with Governor Charlie Baker over drinks at Suffolk University Law School. The conversation will cover a range of hard-hitting and lighter topics, including the news of the day, and what it’s like working with other leaders on Beacon Hill.

Governor Baker will also discuss his first six months in office and share his plans for the next three-and-a-half years.
