All Day Ramadan (Multi-Day Event)
Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, and is observed by Muslims worldwide as a month of fasting to commemorate the first revelation of the Quran to Muhammad. Observant Muslims fast from dawn to sundown, and refrain from other indulgences as well (smoking, arguing, sexual relations, etc). This annual observance is obligatory for all healthy adults, and is regarded as one of the Five Pillars of Islam. The month lasts 29–30 days based on the visual sightings of the crescent moon.

9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Dedicated Writing Day
Both the second and fourth Friday of each month from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM, the CTSE will host our Dedicated Writing Days. This is a time for faculty and staff to dive into writing projects with concentrated time, effort, and support. This session will help you keep the momentum going with your writing projects. We'll provide the space, coffee, tea, and peace of mind - you provide the words. Choose to attend a morning session, an afternoon session, or stay for the whole day! If 10 or more people sign up, the CTSE will provide lunch.
