11:00 AM - 4:00 PM …and time moved differently…: Fine Arts Senior Thesis Exhibition
In the exhibition ...and time moved differently... the Suffolk University Art Gallery presents installation and objects by Diane Appaix-Castro and Shelby Feltoon. Working in a variety of media, they ask us a fundamental question: How is it that we know ourselves and the world around us?

While Diane and Shelby address different subjects, the underlying themes they share are centered on the complex cognitive process of intelligence, thought and language. The world of the mind is given physical form in an exhibition that welcomes the audience to a deliberately sensory experience while asking them to consider the idea that the ability to know oneself depends on how well we embrace the past, the present, and all of our possible futures.

Opening Reception: 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 27, with artist talks beginning at 6:15 p.m.
