5:30 PM - 10:00 PM Angela Lombardo Memorial Scholarship Fundraiser
A fundraising event in memory of a Radiation Therapy Alumna.

On May 17, 2013, Suffolk University is hosting the 5th annual Angela Lombardo Memorial Scholarship Fundraiser. Our goal is to have a scholarship endowed in Angela’s name to honor her legacy: the contributions she made to the radiation therapy profession, especially in the educational domain; and to the work of her students who are now practicing radiation therapists. The scholarship is granted to one of Suffolk University's radiation therapy students and applied toward their final year’s tuition.

A silent auction will be hosted by the Suffolk University Department of Physics and attended by the Radiation Oncology staff of many prominent hospitals in the Boston area, such as Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

The Kinsale Irish Pub is located at 2 Center Plaza, right across from the Government Center T stop.

Advance tickets are $20, cash or check, and can be purchased in the Physics Office in Archer 341.

Tickets will be $25 at the door. Student discount available.

5:30 PM - 8:30 PM The 1913 Celebration
The Alumni Association and the Office of Diversity Services' recognition ceremony for graduating LGBTQ students, international students and students of color.

1913, the year Suffolk graduated its first "diverse" student. Thaddeus Alexander Kitchener, from Kingston, Jamaica is thought to be Suffolk's first Black graduate. Since that time Suffolk has graduated many diverse students from various backgrounds, cultures, countries of origin, genders, and sexual orientations.

On the centennial anniversary of this occasion we ask alumni, faculty and friends to join with us for an evening of recognition, celebration and networking.
