Suffolk University's Adams Gallery presents 8, an exhibition of thesis projects by New England School of Art & Design students completing the master of arts in graphic design. The show reflects the conceptual and critical thinking skills that students developed during their master thesis work.
9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Dedicated On Campus Writing Day for Faculty

Hosted by the Center for Teaching & Scholarly Excellence, the Writing Day Program is a time for faculty writers to dive into writing projects with concentrated time, effort, and support. This lockdown session will help you jump start your writing projects before the busy semester gets started. We'll provide the space, and peace of mind - you provide the words.

Schedule

9am-12pm: write, write, write (coffee and tea will be provided throughout the morning)

12pm-1pm: Bring your own lunch (and keep writing, take a walk, or chat with colleagues)

1pm-4pm: write, write, write OR schedule time to have a peer review your writing (coffee, tea, and some light refreshments will be provided throughout the afternoon)

1:00 PM - 2:30 PM Film: Saving Face
The Women's & Gender Studies Program presents "Saving Face" (Alice Wu, dir., 2004). A romantic comedy about Wil (a doctor), Vivian (a dancer), Wil's pregnant and unmarried mother, and the Chinese-American community they are all a part of.

Students are invited to take a break from studying and join for coffee, cookies, and about 90 minutes in which everyone (eventually) lives happily ever after.
