Philosophy Colloquium: Are You a Bodhisattva? Imagination in Service of Liberation
Start Date: 4/4/2013Start Time: 1:00 PM

Event Description:
A Philosophy Colloquium Event featuring Eric Ingersoll.

Ingersoll is a successful entrepreneur who has been practicing Buddhism for 30 years, while wrestling with the questions arising from practice in everyday life and understanding the teachings in our modern cultural context. He will lead a discussion of several passages from Chapter 3 of "Guide to the Bodhisattva’s Way of Life", available at the link to the right.

At issue: whether the ideal of the Bodhisattva is relevant or practical for the 21st century.

The Colloquium Series invites conversation, so a short talk will proceed into discussion. Refreshments will be served; all are welcome!
