In collaboration with Diversity Services, the CTSE is proud to offer multiple opportunities to learn more about relevant topics related to effectively teaching the diverse student body at Suffolk. 12:15 PM - 1:30 PM Health Policy Conversation
The Public Policy and Practice HUB will hold a gathering for faculty to share what they are doing in their teaching and research in the healthcare, disability, and mental health/substance use fields and to explore ways to enhance collaboration.

Whether or not they can come, faculty are asked to send a short abstract of what they are doing before the meeting, so that the HUB can share this with people in and outside of the university. Please send the abstract to Susan Spurlock at sspurlock@suffolk.edu.

12:15 PM - 1:30 PM Sexual Assault Awareness Month: Interpersonal Violence: Research, College Campus Legal Issues & Suffolk Helping Resources
This will be a dynamic, interdisciplinary presentation with academic, legal and psychological expertise concerning interpersonal and sexual violence and its impact on late adolescents/young adults both on and off college campuses. Discussion will be in Somerset 115.

Reception to follow in the Somerset Lobby where you can sign a pledge, enjoy a cupcake, and take a community support photo. Be sure to wear your Suffolk University SAAM t-shirt!

Join the Center for Community Engagement for an evening of service at the Prison Book Program in Quincy to help promote education and literacy for prisoners. Read letters from prisoners and sort and package books to be sent to them.

Volunteers meet 
at 5:30 p.m. at the Center for Community Engagement, Sawyer 824, and travel together to Quincy. This is a weekly opportunity limited to the first six volunteers who RSVP through SUconnect.
