All Day Graphic Design Program Student Exhibit (Multi-Day Event)
Graphic Design Program Student Exhibit
April 11 - April 21, 2016
Opening Reception: Friday, April 15, 2016, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.

The old-fashioned 'in-a-box' design doesn't work anymore. Practicing graphic designers today must be multidisciplinary, willing to work in a team and across platforms. This exhibit will demonstrate how NESAD prepares graphic designers to meet the communications challenges of tomorrow, assigning practical projects that call for conceptually strong design solutions to client problems.
10:00 AM - 1:00 PM Sensory Disabilities Institute
Sensory Disabilities Institute
Facilitated by the Office of Disability Services Staff

Do you use multimedia to teach? Do you want to learn how to create course materials that reach all learners? This workshop is designed for faculty who are interested or who will be teaching students with sensory (vision/hearing) disabilities, but will cover techniques that benefit all learners. This is an opportunity for faculty to gain the knowledge and skillset for creating accessible course content. The two major goals of this session are for faculty to develop a partnership with the Office of Disability Services and a plan of action for accessible course design.
