Everything You Need to Know About Kink: BDSM 101
Start Date: 4/16/2015Start Time: 6:00 PM
End Date: 4/16/2015End Time: 8:00 PM

Event Description:
BDSM is the pursuit of giving and receiving pleasure through bold sensation, and the consensual exchange of temporarily giving up control or taking on authority over another. Join Sinclair Sexsmith, feminist dominant and kink aficionado, for a workshop on everything you need to know to start playing with bondage, sadism, masochism, power exchange, and more. We’ll explore how consent and agency are key issues in feminism and how they work in the exploration of BDSM, and we'll discuss different kinds of topping and bottoming, as well as theories to enhance your personal BDSM skills. And then we'll talk about all your questions, like: What's difference is between BDSM and abuse? And, Is it healthy to engage in kinky sex play? (Hint: Sinclair thinks it is not only healthy, but can be healing.) We can't cover ALL of kink in just one workshop, but we you'll definitely leave with tons of ideas and avenues to explore!
