All Day SAAM: Clothing Drive for Rosie's Place, A Women's Shelter (Multi-Day Event)

Sexual Assault Awareness Month clothing drive to benefit Rosie's Place! Visit facebook.com/SuffolkUniversitySUPERs to find out what is needed and drop them off at the Student Wellness Resource Center, Diversity Services, the Center for Community Engagement, the Interfaith Center, at your residence hall, or the Law School.

8:30 AM Graphic Design Show: Just My Type (Multi-Day Event)
NESAD will be hosting the senior graphic design show 'Just My Type' featuring works from graphic design undergraduates.

The title of the show is “Just My Type” and includes posters, branding, packaging, web & app design, advertisements and personal work by graduating Senior Graphic Design majors.

The reception is on Friday, April 17th from 5:30-7:30pm. Each student’s supporters: family, partners, internship sponsors, friends, faculty & NESAD Graphic Design alumni will be in attendance.

The Spring Trade Show is the culmination of ENT 280 and ENT 300.

Come to support your fellow students in these classes who have been working on their business ideas all semester and are ready to pitch them to you in a traditional trade show style.

The Trade Show will take place in the Sawyer Cafe, so feel free to stop by on your way to class and vote for your favorite ideas!

Joins us for a Sawyer Library Speaker Series author talk & culinary sampling with Suffolk alumna Rosana Y. Wan (B.A. History, 2011)

Rosana Y. Wan received her B. A. with honors in history from Suffolk University in 2011.  She is a historian and independent scholar, interested in the American Revolution, 18th century culinary culture, and fine arts.  

Rosana was awarded the first John C. Cavanagh Prize in History at Suffolk University in 2011 and is a member of the Theta Lambda chapter of Phi Alpha Theta, the National History Honor Society. She is a former park ranger at Adams National Historical Park. She is a recipient of the 2014 Outstanding New Interpreter Award from the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR).

Cherry pie, strawberries, & lemonade from the cookbook will be served, along with coffee and tea.

U.K. gay activists work to help miners during their lengthy strike of the National Union of Mineworkers in the summer of 1984.

Camille A. Nelson
Dean and Professor of Law, Suffolk University Law School
 

Dean Nelson will be stepping down as Dean of Suffolk Law at the end of the academic year. Dean Nelson is the first black woman to serve as Dean of any law school in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She has championed for diversity throughout her entire tenure and served as an inspiration to the Suffolk Law community and the Greater Boston legal community.
