Kirstin Brown Birtwell will defend her dissertation, entitled "The Role of Child Functioning and Experiential Avoidance in Perceived Well-Being in Parents of Children Diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders." Her committee includes Drs. Lisa Coyne (chair), Gary Fireman, and Susan Orsillo. This defense will be open to the public.
