Asian American Heritage Month Opening Event: Dr. Andrew Leong presents Gentrification and Chinatown

Event Description:
Prof. Andrew Leong will speak about the escalation of gentrification an the "disneyfictation" of U.S. Chinatowns. Stemming from the findings of a major reports he co-authored with the Asian American Legal Defense & education Fund, data will be presented to highlight the ongoing struggles of Chinatowns in New York City, Philadelphia, and Boston.
