All Day Online Course Design Institute (Multi-Day Event)
Online CDI (Course Design Institute)
Are you interested in designing an online, hybrid or technology-enhanced course?  If so, enroll in the 4-week Online CDI. The Online CDI is recommended for faculty who are preparing to teach a fully or partially online course, who are interested in learning about developing such a course, or who may already be teaching an online, hybrid or technology-enhanced course but would like to incorporate some additional research-based teaching and learning strategies. This interactive, online workshop has been designed to align with the Quality Matters rubric.  For more information, contact ctse@suffolk.edu.

8:00 AM Novice Nationals Tournament (Multi-Day Event)
Suffolk University is hosting the Novice Nationals, an intercollegiate speech and debate national tournament for first-year undergraduate students, for the first time.

9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Dedicated Writing Day
Both the second and fourth Friday of each month from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM, the CTSE will host our Dedicated Writing Days. This is a time for faculty and staff to dive into writing projects with concentrated time, effort, and support. This session will help you keep the momentum going with your writing projects. We'll provide the space, coffee, tea, and peace of mind - you provide the words. Choose to attend a morning session, an afternoon session, or stay for the whole day! If 10 or more people sign up, the CTSE will provide lunch.


11:00 AM - 4:00 PM Foundation Student Show

This show features student work from Art & Design’s first year Foundation program. Juried selections from courses including Drawing I and II, 2D/Color, Integrated Studio I and II, 3D Design, and Imaging will be included. The Foundation program instills visual thinking and communication fundamentals, and its courses are the common first step for Art & Design programs in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, and Interior Design.

Opening reception: 5:15 – 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 8, at the Art Gallery


12:00 PM - 12:30 PM RAMP Information Session
The Ram Alumni Mentoring Program (RAMP) Information Session is to orient students to CDC's Mentoring Program with Suffolk Alumni. RAMP connects undergraduate students with alumni mentors in a mutually-rewarding one-on-one relationship that fosters personal, educational, and career success of the students. After attending this information session, students will be oriented on the program and given next steps on how to search for and connect with a mentor.
