Make a change in just four hours! Casa Nueva Vida, a home that houses almost 50 people and aims to permanently pull families out of poverty, needs volunteers! Volunteers will assist the children of the home with their homework and afterwards will interact with the children during playtime in a meaningful and engaging way. Students will meet in the S.O.U.L.S. Center at 3:00 PM. This opportunity is open to the first 5 students who sign up through SUconnect.

Think you know all there is to know about Ireland? Well there is more than meets the Isle. Come learn 25 things you don’t know about Ireland but should, from Suffolk’s own Professor Jonathan Haughton, a Dublin native and expert on Ireland. Professor Haughton will reveal the real Ireland for all us Celtophile Greenhorns (Guinness optional).

Community Servings is a not-for-profit food and nutrition program providing services throughout Massachusetts to individuals and families living with critical and chronic illnesses. Community Serving's goals are to help their clients maintain their health and dignity and preserve the integrity of their families through free, culturally appropriate, home-delivered meals, nutrition education, and other community programs. Volunteers will be preparing and serving a meal. This volunteer opportunity is limited to the first 15 participants who R.S.V.P. through SUconnect. Volunteers will meet at the S.O.U.L.S. Center at 5:30.
Please note that no shorts or open toe footwear is allowed in the kitchen.
