All Day Humanitarian Aid for Venezuela

The Venezuelan Student Union (VSU) is concerned about the Humanitarian Crisis in Venezuela. Therefore, we will be collecting medical the medical supplies described below in these locations:

8:30 AM - 8:30 PM Foundation Student Art Show
This Suffolk University Gallery show exhibits work of undergraduate students participating in the Foundation Studies program. The students are exposed to a broad spectrum of materials, techniques and concepts in their formative year at the New England School of Art & Design. Their responses reflect the visual problem solving and individual creativity so critical to their pursuit of a life in the arts.

After 7 p.m. and on weekends, entry to the second-floor gallery is through the lobby at 10 Saint James Ave.
9:00 AM - 11:00 AM Coffee Hour

Come join the Office of Diversity Services for our weekly coffee hour between 9am – 11am! We have FREE bagels from Bruegger's, FREE coffee, tea, hot cocoa - and sometimes muffins too!  This week's coffee hour is Co-sponsored by Counseling, Health, and Wellness (CHW).

Alternative Facts and the Cold Shoulder: Media and the First Amendment in the Age of Trump

The host of MSNBC's "The Last Word with Lawrence O'Donnell" joins the Suffolk Law community to provide his unique take on the media in the age of President Donald Trump.

What can we expect from the media and from the administration over the course of the next four years?

Certainly, the "trust the media" days of Walter Cronkite are gone. But, are we witnessing a permanent fracture in the public's expectations and confidence in the media--and in the communications of politicians and government officials?

Join the Center for Community Engagement for an evening of service at the Prison Book Program in Quincy to help promote education and literacy for prisoners. Read letters from prisoners and sort and package books to be sent to them.

Volunteers meet 
at 5:30 p.m. at the Center for Community Engagement, Sawyer 824, and travel together to Quincy. This is a weekly opportunity limited to the first six volunteers who RSVP through SUconnect.
