8:30 AM - 8:30 PM Annual Illustration Student Exhibit

The work displayed includes the artwork of Illustration majors and minors, sophomore through senior, produced in the past year in Illustration Program classes.  It was selected by a jury of illustration professionals - Susy Pilgrim-Waters, James Steinberg, Mike Scaramozzino and Dale Stephanos.  

Everyone is welcome to the opening reception on Thursday, March 31 from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.

1:00 PM - 3:00 PM Safe Zone II: Ally Development and Advocacy
Safe Zone II focuses on ally development and building the skills needed to be an active ally and advocate in your daily life. While Safe Zone I focused on increasing awareness and teaching core concepts, Safe Zone II is aimed at skills building and taking action. It is a much more dynamic and interactive training that will involve television and film clips, group activities, and skills you can bring back to your everyday life.

4:00 PM - 5:00 PM Lomas de Poleo
The Women & Gender Studies program, the Spanish program, and the Spanish Club present a reading of Lomas de Poleo, a play written by Edeberto Galindo, directed by Colleen Rua, and translated from Spanish by Professor Iani Moreno and Kristin Adams. This moving play sheds a light on the femicides of women and girls in Mexico's Ciudad Juarez.

A reception in 10 West will follow the reading; light refreshments will be available.
5:00 PM - 5:45 PM Law Students: Navigating On-Campus Interviews
Learn about on-campus interviews: What is OCI? How does it work? When and how do you apply? What is the hiring criteria? This is mandatory for 1LD/2LE students interested in participating in large firm, summer associate hiring this summer and fall. Attendance will be taken.

6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Campus Life Forum
This open forum is an opportunity for students to speak directly with the administrators who oversee areas pertaining a student's life on campus. These departments include Residence Life, Sodexo, Suffolk University Police and Security Department, Facilities Management, and Campus Card Services. The event will feauture a question-and-answer portion as well as light refreshments for all of the participants. It is the 4th Annual Town Hall hosted by the Student Government Association.
