8:30 AM - 8:30 PM Foundation Student Art Show
This Suffolk University Gallery show exhibits work of undergraduate students participating in the Foundation Studies program. The students are exposed to a broad spectrum of materials, techniques and concepts in their formative year at the New England School of Art & Design. Their responses reflect the visual problem solving and individual creativity so critical to their pursuit of a life in the arts.

After 7 p.m. and on weekends, entry to the second-floor gallery is through the lobby at 10 Saint James Ave.

The Venezuelan Student Union (VSU) is concerned about the Humanitarian Crisis in Venezuela. Therefore, we will be collecting medical the medical supplies described below in these locations: 

9th Floor, 73 Building (International Students Service Office) 
3th Floor, Sawyer Building (Student Leadership & Involvement)

12:00 PM - 1:00 PM Patent Bar Information Session

Are you a current Law student with an undergrad degree (or at least two years of coursework) in engineering, computer sciences or the hard sciences (chemistry, biology, physics, or related fields), and are interested in becoming a Patent Agent or Attorney?  

Join PLI for an information session on the Patent Bar Exam!

Topics to be discussed include:

  • The latest info on the Patent Office Exam,
  • Who can take it,
  • How it works, now that it's on computer and “on demand,”
  • When you should take it (you don't need to…and probably shouldn't…wait until you graduate),
  • How the America Invents Act and recent US Supreme Court cases have impacted the Exam, and
  • Recommendations on when and how to study for this very difficult Exam.

 Scholarships to PLI's other IP programs will also be discussed.

Since January 2009, the Oasis Monday night meal program has been providing dinner to those in need.  The program serves approximately 170 meals each week in a safe, warm and nurturing environment.  Volunteers will be serving meals.

Meet at the Center for Community Engagement, Sawyer 824, at 5:30 pm. This is a weekly opportunity limited to the first 5 volunteers who R.S.V.P. through SUconnect
