Event Description:

For managers of staff only

March 27, 2014 9:00 AM - 11:45 AM

Location: Emmanuel College, Administration Building, Fenway Room

Presented by: Alan Paret

Behavioral interviewing is said to be 55 percent predictive of future on-the-job behavior, while traditional interviewing is only 10 percent predictive. Behavioral interviewing is based on the concept that the best predictor of future performance is past performance. Behavioral interviews are structured around core competencies. This workshop concentrates on the pre-interview preparation; developing questions and their value; the interview techniques that get specific, behavior-based examples of past performance; and the strategies that follow through on this process.
