Online CDI (Course Design Institute)
Are you interested in designing an online, hybrid or technology-enhanced course?  If so, enroll in the 4-week Online CDI. The Online CDI is recommended for faculty who are preparing to teach a fully or partially online course, who are interested in learning about developing such a course, or who may already be teaching an online, hybrid or technology-enhanced course but would like to incorporate some additional research-based teaching and learning strategies. This interactive, online workshop has been designed to align with the Quality Matters rubric.  For more information, contact ctse@suffolk.edu.

9:00 AM - 3:00 PM Bridging the Gap: Trends in Marketing Conference

Hosted by the Department of Marketing at Suffolk University's Sawyer Business School, the Bridging the Gap conference aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry, bringing together marketing and advertising professionals, business owners, students, and academics for a day of lively discussions about Marketing, technology, digital innovation, social media, and more.

Proceeds from the conference go towards a BtheG scholarship established for Marketing majors and minors who creatively express their love of Marketing and fun facts in a short documentary video.

9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Dedicated Writing Day
Both the second and fourth Friday of each month from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM, the CTSE will host our Dedicated Writing Days. This is a time for faculty and staff to dive into writing projects with concentrated time, effort, and support. This session will help you keep the momentum going with your writing projects. We'll provide the space, coffee, tea, and peace of mind - you provide the words. Choose to attend a morning session, an afternoon session, or stay for the whole day! If 10 or more people sign up, the CTSE will provide lunch.


11:00 AM - 4:00 PM Illustration Student Show

The senior Illustration show features the work of Illustration seniors Caela Chau, Sylvan Huynh, and Jacqueline Mancini.  Their work exemplifies the creative process and inventive thinking, and represents the best ideas used in Illustration.  The art of Illustration remains strong and this program instills fundamental visual communication skills, conceptual thinking, and proficiency in creativity and technical skills.

Join Charlotte Dietz for part II of the Presentation Skills workshop series. This workshop will help you to understand the fundamentals of public speaking preparation and practice.

A complimentary lunch will be served.

This workshop is open to Sawyer Business School graduate students only.

12:00 PM - 12:30 PM RAMP Information Session
The Ram Alumni Mentoring Program (RAMP) Information Session is to orient students to CDC's Mentoring Program with Suffolk Alumni. RAMP connects undergraduate students with alumni mentors in a mutually-rewarding one-on-one relationship that fosters personal, educational, and career success of the students. After attending this information session, students will be oriented on the program and given next steps on how to search for and connect with a mentor. Attendance to this event is mandatory to be accepted into program. Please contact Lauren Grenier | lgrenier@suffolk.edu with any questions.
3:00 PM - 4:00 PM OPT Work Authorization Workshop
Optional Practical Training (OPT) is work authorization for F-1 international students that is generally used after a student has graduated from their program. If you are graduating in December or May, come to this information session to learn about the application process and the regulations for OPT.
7:30 PM - 10:00 PM Soulfully Versed A Cappella Festival
Soulfully Versed will present its first a cappella festival with multiple college a cappella groups and a national headliner act "The HouseJacks."

The show will take place at RCC Auditorium in Roxbury Crossing.
