WWII in Retrospect: Documenting Women in Occupied France

Event Description:
With ongoing discoveries of documents and belated recognition of contributors to the Allied victory, the history of WWII is still unfolding. The discussion will focus on the underrepresented experiences of women in Occupied France and the importance of archives in preserving the collective memory of war. The event will also celebrate the donation of Margaret Collins Weitz’s personal papers to the Moakley Archive and Institute.
