Join Dr. Marc Lamont Hill, one our nation's leading public intellectuals, for a dynamic keynote address in the historic sanctuary of the African Meeting House, just a few steps from our campus. Dr. Hill will focus on the intersections of race, masculinity, and incarceration. He will touch vastly on the importance of understanding the prison industrial complex through a racial justice and social justice framework. More details to follow. Please visit the Social Justice Series website for the most up-to-date details.

Marc Lamont Hill will deliver a keynote lecture examining the role of mass incarceration in 21st Century society. Dr. Hill will spotlight the ways in which racial inequality and neo-liberalism help shape the current crisis of mass incarceration and retributive justice. He also offers strategies for imagining and creating "a world without prisons."
