12:15 PM - 1:15 PM RAMP Information Session & Orientation
In this session, you will learn about the Ram Alumni Mentoring Program and prepare for your mentorship. Topics include: program basics, the application process, expectations, and guidelines for the program. After completing the orientation and application, the Career Development Center will match you with a mentor. This event is mandatory to participate in the Ram Alumni Mentoring Program (RAMP) for the Spring Cycle (March-August). However, you may come just to learn about it, too! If you are not available to attend one of the Orientation sessions, please contact Lauren Grenier ( or Joanna Lazarek ( to make alternate arrangements.

Water Security and Water Environmental Planning- a Lecture by Xiangrong Wang.

Professor Wang is the director of the Centre for Urban Eco-Planning & Design, chairperson of the Department of Environmental Science and Engineering of at Fudan University (Shanghai China), and President of Shanghai Ecological Society. Dr. Wang’s research is focused on Urban Ecology & Planning, Global Change and Urban Ecosystem Research, Environmental Policy and Management, Vegetation Ecology and Natural Conservation, and Environmental Assessment & Planning. He has a vast research background inclusive of 80 research projects, 19 scholarly books, and 130 academic papers, 6 Chinese national patents, as well as many scientific prizes.

Come learn more about our four-week summer program at the Madrid Campus.  We will go over the courses offered, application process, and associated fees. Info Session will be held in 73 Tremont Room 5035.
12:30 PM - 1:30 PM Transfer Student Advising Workshop
Each semester the Undergraduate Academic Advising Center offers a series of workshops designed to help new transfer students transition to their new life at Suffolk.

The workshop will focus on navigating your new curriculum, reviewing transfer credit and helping you to understand how it all fits together.
