So Fit Activity: Take the Stairs Tuesday!
Trying to improve your health in February?  Make it a goal on Tuesday's to take the stairs as much as possible!  You'll get a point for every 2 flights you walk!   Also, each Tuesday post a fun picture of you taking the stairs to the So Fit Wellness Challenge Facebook page.  The winner each week gets a great prize!

With fall advising taking place after spring break, now's the perfect time to make some progress on evaluating potential majors. The workshop will offer the Strong Interest Explorer which will help you zero in on career interests and relevant majors.

1:00 PM - 2:00 PM So Fit Activity: Crocheting
Due to the popularity of this activity Crocheting has been moved to 73 Tremont Street on the 13th floor in the ORSP Conference Room.  Make a right when you come off the elevator.  If you haven't signed up and would like to attend a session please write   

All are welcome! If participating in the 2013 Suffolk University So Fit Wellness Challenge this event has a point value! Crocheting is similar to knitting and is the process of creating fabric from yarn, thread, or other material strands using a crochet hook.  Done on a regular basis crocheting can have health benefits including relieving stress, improve one’s self image and providing a sense of accomplishment!

Learn about food, justice and the unequal distribution of grocery stores in and around urban areas. Explore the question of why certain people are not as priveledged at others when it comes to access to green space and food. There will be a panel featuring faculty members and environmental justice activists in the Boston community.

2:30 PM - 6:30 PM Pasta Dinner at Heritage Apartments
Students will be interacting with the elderly community living in supportive housing. Volunteers prepare, serve, and share a meal with the residents of The Heritage Apartments. Volunteers meet at the S.O.U.L.S. Center at 2:30 and travel together to the site. This opportunity is available to the first 6 students who register on SUconnect.
4:45 PM - 7:00 PM Tuesday Night Church of the Advent Supper Club
Help serve meals at the Church of the Advent to those in need. Meet at the S.O.U.L.S. Center, Donahue 209, at 4:45 pm. This opportunity is offered every other week and is limited to the first 3 volunteers who R.S.V.P. through SUconnect.
6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Unity Week's- Zumba!

SUHA, Wicked and ASA will be hosting a dance workshop for the Suffolk community! Learn some basic choreography from Wicked, Salasa, Bachata and Merengue from SUHA, and the ASA will be teaching Azonto.
