4:30 PM - 6:00 PM Washington Center Info Session

Information session about internships and seminars offered through Suffolk's partnership with The Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars, with Government Professor John Berg and Ann Burke, a representative from The Washington Center.

This year, in addition to full-time, academic credit internships in Summer, Fall, and Spring, The Washington Seminar will be offering two week academic seminars on-site at each of the two major political party conventions, as well as a two-week seminar in Washington to coincide with the inauguration of the next President.


5:00 PM - 6:30 PM Guest Speaker: Itiel Dror
Itiel Dror, the leading expert on cognitive bias in forensic sciences, has graciously agreed to give a FREE talk to Suffolk Law students, public defenders and bar advocates on February 24 from 5:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. at Suffolk Law School.

A pioneer in the field, Dr. Dror's will describe his latest research and also help practitioners to identify ways of utilizing this research to challenge scientific evidence offered by the Commonwealth at trial. Dr. Dror is exceptional not only for his research, but also for his ability to speak in plain terms about seemingly impenetrable research topics.

Dr. Dror's talk is co-hosted by CPCS, the New England Innocence Project and Suffolk Law School.
