Event Description:
Join Us for a brief lecture on Blood Spatter Analysis by Crime Scene Analysis Expert Lori Bunnell Purdy. Guest Speaker, Lori Bunnell Purdy, has over twenty years of experience with the Massachusetts State Police Crime Lab. Her expertise ranges in drug identification, evidence control, criminalistics, and serology units. Her experience includes forensic analysis of hundreds of crimes and crime scenes, involving blood spatter, gunshot residues, toolmarks, sexual assault, stabbings, beatings, strangulations, motor vehicle accidents, bank robberies, and drugs. The SUFSS Blood Spatter Analysis will involve us projecting synthetic blood onto various surfaces. With the help of Crime Scene Analysis Expert Lori Bunnell Purdy we will analyze the bloodstain patterns by examining the various shapes, locations, and distribution of patterns of the bloodstains.
