So Fit Activity: Take the Stairs Tuesday!
Trying to improve your health in February?  Make it a goal on Tuesday's to take the stairs as much as possible!  You'll get a point for every 2 flights you walk!   Also, each Tuesday post a fun picture of you taking the stairs to the So Fit Wellness Challenge Facebook page.  The winner each week gets a great prize!

Due to the popularity of this activity Crocheting has been moved to 73 Tremont Street on the 13th floor in the ORSP Conference Room.  Make a right when you come off the elevator.  If you haven't signed up and would like to attend a session please write sofit@suffolk.edu   

All are welcome! If participating in the 2013 Suffolk University So Fit Wellness Challenge this event has a point value! Crocheting is similar to knitting and is the process of creating fabric from yarn, thread, or other material strands using a crochet hook.  Done on a regular basis crocheting can have health benefits including relieving stress, improve one’s self image and providing a sense of accomplishment!

4:00 PM - 5:00 PM So Fit Activity: Healthy Walking Tours
In preparation for a seven-day 100 mile trip this summer on the famous pilgrimage, El Camino de Santiago, the Theater Department plans to take two walks in the month of February and invites the So Fit community to participate! 

1st trip - Friday, February 8 - 1:00-2:00 pm  
Start point: Alumni Park directly across from the Donahue Building
Route: Walk to the Charlestown Navy Yard and Bunker Hill Monument and back
Distance: 3 miles

2nd trip - Tuesday, February 19 - 4:00-5:00 pm
Start point: Alumni Park directly across from the Donahue Building
Route: The Esplanade to the MFA and back along Commonwealth Avenue and the public garden.
Distance: 3.51 miles

The famous pilgrimage trip is being sponsored by Suffolk University's Madrid Campus!   For those who don't know, the Camino's many spectacular paths through picturesque villages and ancient cities in northwestern Spain converge on Santiago de Compostela, one of the most beautiful cities in Europe.    
4:00 PM - 5:00 PM Training Walk: Camino de Santiago Journey
A training walk for this summer’s trip of a lifetime! We will begin across from the entrance to the Donahue building, journey along the Esplanade to the MFA, and return along Commonwealth Avenue and the Public Garden. Total distance: 3.51mi.
