The Stephen D. Paine Scholarship is designed to support students who are entering their final year in studio art programs at colleges in the city of Boston. The 2016 exhibition, organized by Suffolk University Gallery director Deborah Davidson, features the work of six student artists. The recipients work in a range of media and it is exciting to recognize this group of young artists as they continue with their education.

Townie: A one man show with the legendary Boston comedian, Steve Sweeney.

Comedian/actor Steve Sweeney regales audiences with stories of his journey from hard-scrabble, colorful Charlestown through the old Boston Theater District and cultural landscape. Sweeney has carried his “Townie” influences with him through a career that's included dozens of films, national television appearances, radio hosting, and thousands of nights headlining Boston's comedy clubs.  Post-performance discussion and Q&A with Dr. Robert Allison of the History Department.
General Admission: $20 | Students & Seniors with ID: $10 | FREE for the Suffolk community.
