So Fit Wellness Program: Tai Chi

Event Description:
During the Suffolk Tai Chi program, attendees can expect a brief introduction to the history and benefits of tai chi followed by the opportunity to actively participate in learning the beginning movements of a Sun Style Tai Chi Short Form. Attendees will also be introduced to some simple and easy to remember qigong, or breathing exercises, that can be done at home, at work, or just about anywhere. Tai chi is a gentle, fluid and slow moving exercise that can help calm the mind while strengthening the body. Participants should wear loose, comfortable clothes and flat shoes.

Although suggested, you do not need to be a So Fit participant to attend this event (but if not you'll miss out on the opportunity to win great prizes).
