Professor Sushil Bhatia is an Executive in Residence in the Management and Entrepreneurship Department. Bhatia is an innovator/inventor/entrepreneur holding several patents and has innovated and launched products like Glue Stic, DeCopier, convention badges, binding systems, labels, software, office, and other packaging products.


12:15 PM - 1:30 PM Film & Director Q&A: "Kokoyakyu: High School Baseball:

Director Ken Eng screens and answers questions about his fascinating documentary on Japanese baseball, "Kokoyakyu: High School Baseball." 

In Japan, baseball is not a pastime — it's a national obsession. And for many of the country's youth, the sport has become a rite of passage, epitomized by the national high school baseball tournament known simply as "Koshien." Four thousand teams enter, but only 49 are chosen to compete in the championship that grips the nation for two weeks every August.



Free and open to the public. Sponsored by the Rosenberg Institute for East Asian Studies, Japanese Student Association, Department of Communication and Journalism, and Asian Studies Program.
