Event Description:
Anna is an 18-year-old novice, about to take her final vows in Poland in 1962. When she meets her aunt Wanda, a cynical & well-connected Communist judge, she discovers that her parents were Jews and her real name is Ida. What happened to her parents? Will she return to the convent to become a nun, or leave to lead a new life?

This event co-sponsored by the History Film Series and the Women's & Gender Studies program.
