Suffolk University Gallery is pleased to present the exhibit From Paper to Pixels, and to be collaborating with Infrared5 CEO Rebecca Smith Allen, who first organized the exhibit. This exhibition creates the opportunity for collaboration between traditional and new media artists. 

From Paper to Pixels pairs creative people together, to be inspired and invent new masterpieces. The results of these pairings are smart, funny, delightful. The exhibit invites the viewer to participate - to play with art, dance with characters, touch paintings to make music, interact with sculptures and make the art come alive.

If you would like to request to stay on campus during Thanksgiving break, depart after 2:00pm on Wednesday, November 27 or return before 10:00am on Sunday, December 1, you must complete and submit a request form by 12:00pm. 
2:00 PM - 4:00 PM Transgender Day of Remembrance Prayer and Reflection
The Interfaith Center will be open from 2 to 4 for prayer and reflection. Join us in honoring those we have lost to transphobic violence in the past year. For more information, please contact the Office of Diversity Services. Will take place on November 20th as well as November 22nd.

Afghanistan Samsortya is a reforestation and orchard development program which has planted and distributed thousands of trees in order to assist Afghans in restoring an ecological system devastated by decades of strife.

4:30 PM - 8:45 PM Greater Boston Food Bank

The Food Bank is the largest hunger-relief organization in New England and one of the largest food banks in the country. They distribute more than 34 million pounds of food and grocery products annually to a network of nearly 600 member hunger-relief agencies. Volunteers will inspect, sort and pack donated grocery products that are then distributed to hunger relief agencies.  Volunteers will meet in the Donahue 209 at 4:30 and travel together to the site.  This opportunity is limited to the first 25 participants who RSVP on SUconnect.

Dress requirements:  closed-toe shoes, no loose fitting clothing, clothes that you do not mind getting dirty.

4:30 PM - 8:45 PM Psychology Graduate Student Diversity Association - Community Service
The Psychology department's Graduate Student Diversity Association (GSDA) will sponsor a community service event with the Greater Boston Food Bank on Wednesday, November 20. Help serve meals at the Paulist Center to those in need. Meet at the S.O.U.L.S. Center, Donahue 209, at 4:45 pm. This is a weekly opportunity limited to the first 5 volunteers who R.S.V.P. on SUconnect.

In 1919, immigrants from Montefalcione revived their centuries-old tradition in the streets of their new home: Boston's North End. Whether in Montefalcione or Boston, the Grand Procession of St. Anthony represents the story of a people's preservation of religious devotion, tradition, culture, history, and heritage.

Please join film producer Christian A. Guarino,'12, and historian Matteo Casini for a screening of Patron Saint: The Montefalcione Devotion to St. Anthony.
