Event Description:
9-Man, described by the New York Times as "an absorbing documentary," explores streetball, a unique sport battle that takes place in the heart of Chinatown districts across the United States and Canada. Director Ursula Liang presents her debut film, which won six prestigious documentary awards. A Q&A session with the director will follow the screening.

The gritty, athletic, chaotic urban competition depicted in 9-Man originated in the 1930s and requires that 2/3 of players are 100 percent Chinese
