Start Date: 11/18/2013Start Time: 12:00 PM
End Date: 11/18/2013End Time: 1:00 PM

Event Description:

Many of us are familiar with the ways in which non-profit organizations assist the hungry, but how much do we know about the City of Boston’s efforts?  Edith Murnane, the Director of the Office of Food Initiatives, and Emily Finn, the Coordinator of the bostonCANshare initiative, will lead a discussion to help us understand what our local government is doing to make a difference. Join us to learn about hunger issues from the perspective of the City of Boston and the work that is being done to address those issues.
