9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Health Policy Commission Annual Cost Trends Hearing
The annual health care cost trends hearing is a public examination into the drivers of health care costs as well as the engagement of experts and witnesses to identify particular challenges and opportunities within the Commonwealth's health care system. 

It will provide a unique opportunity to evaluate evidence and assess the health care market’s response to the cost growth benchmark and quality, transparency and care delivery innovations required by Chapter 224.

Make sure your voice is heard in this November’s upcoming election. Voter ambassadors will be available in the Donahue, Sawyer and NESAD lobbies to assist you with the voter registration process.  Elections will be held on Tuesday, November 4 and voters must be registered by October 15 to participate in the election.

With Dawn Quesel, Certified Career Life Coach & President at Career Life Balance

1:00 PM - 9:00 PM Dinner Theater Auditions
Dinner Theater is a really fun show to be involved with, especially this year! Dinner Theater is an interactive murder mystery where the audience is served a three course delicious meal by a cast, as they drop clues (but not your dinner!) throughout the show. This year's theme is "Enterprise: Deep Space Murder" which is a spoof on Star Trek. It is sure to be a hilarious show and a great way to get involved!

Auditions to be part of the cast are happening on Tuesday October 7. Prepare a short monologue and you will do cold readings. Sign up to audition at 1pm & 5pm outside of the PAO (Donahue 409).  
1:00 PM - 3:00 PM Safe Zone I: Introduction to LGBTQ Communities

Safe Zone I focuses on increasing awareness and educating participants on key issues impacting the LGBTQ community, vocabulary, queerphobia, privilege, heterosexism, cissexism, and the basic elements of being an ally. Participants are given the opportunity to sign an ally pledge and receive a Safe Zone sticker. Please register by clicking here.

This training is mandatory for all students who will be participating in Suffolk University sponsored service work.
