Do you like volunteering and meeting new people? Whether you are just curious about service opportunities or already fully embrace service, the Corps is right for you! The Corps will meet during the academic year to help its members gain a deeper understanding of social justice issues, explore what service means to individuals and the greater community, and participate in service opportunities.

Join us to discuss upcoming events in the Center for Community Engagement, meet other student volunteers, sign up for future volunteer projects, and give us feedback or suggestions on what types of opportunities you would like Suffolk to offer.
1:00 PM - 3:00 PM Safe Zone Training
Safe Zone is a program of ongoing education and assistance to sustain a network of allies for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ) people in the Suffolk University Community.
3:00 PM - 3:50 PM Reading, Vocabulary and Discussion a.k.a "Suffolk Small Talk"

Come talk about what’s going on at Suffolk and around the Boston area. Read articles from the Suffolk Journal, learn new vocabulary and expressions, practice reading and discussion skills and how to make small talk.


This workshop will be held from 3:00-3:50 in the Center for Learning and Academic Success (Room 3062), on the second level of the library.

4:45 PM - 7:00 PM Monday Night Oasis Supper Club
Help serve meals at the Cathedral Church of St. Paul to those in need. Meet at the S.O.U.L.S. Center, Donahue 209, at 4:45 pm. This is a weekly opportunity limited to the first 5 volunteers who R.S.V.P. through SUconnect.
5:00 PM - 6:30 PM Mary Gonzalez: Community Engagement, Alliance Building, & The Politics of Identity
Rep. Gonzalez (D-TX), is a national presenter on issues of race, gender, sexual identity, and coalition building. This event is also a part of the Social Justice Series and Hispanic Heritage Month. 
5:30 PM - 7:30 PM Ahead of the Game: An Evening with Boston Bruins GM Peter Chiarelli
Staying ahead of the game is the secret to success not only in hockey, but also in one's legal career.  Suffolk Law is dedicated to providing students the cutting-edge skills that will help them get ahead of the curve.

This event is currently open to Suffolk Law School students, alumni, faculty, and staff only.

The Wellness & Health Promotion Office in the Department of Counseling & Health Services invites you to this fun 4-part program!  Each week we will have a different activity (such as massage, Zumba, & sleep kits) that will help you combat your stress and improve your sleep. Perfect for new and continuing students.
