Clickers in the Classroom (Workshop for Faculty)
Start Date: 10/30/2014Start Time: 10:00 AM
End Date: 10/30/2014End Time: 11:30 AM

Event Description:

Clickers can be utilized in the classroom for a variety of purposes. This demonstration briefly walks participants through how to use the technology (through an interactive session) and different uses for the technology (including engagement and assessment of student learning, and how it can be used to support team-based learning models). This integration of technology and practice allows for more sophisticated discussions in class leading to higher engagement and long-term learning. Participants will leave with models for integrating clickers into their courses and available on-line resources for further exploration and support.
