Health Law and Policy Forum Speaker: Professor Frank M. McClellan

Event Description:
Suffolk Law's Health & Biomedical Law Concentration is proud to present the first of three Health Law and Policy Forum discussions.  Join us on Thursday, October 3rd at 4:00 p.m. for a presentation from Professor Frank. M. McClellan, Co-Director of the Temple University Center for Health Law, Policy and Practice, entitled: "Using the Affordable Care Act to Reduce Disparities: Is Now the Time for Tort Reform?"  Reception to follow.

Biography for Professor McClellan:  Author of  "Medical Malpractice: Law, Tactics and Ethics", Professor McClellan is an expert on health care law.  He has litigated numerous complex medical malpractice and product liability cases, and argued appeals before Federal and state appellate courts. For the past 3 years, McClellan has also served as a member of the National Steering Committee of Movement is Life, a national coalition dedicated to addressing racial disparities in joint and bone health.
