All Day Online Course Design Institute (Multi-Day Event)
Are you interested in designing an online, hybrid or technology-enhanced course?  If so, enroll in the 4-week Online CDI. The Online CDI is recommended for faculty who are preparing to teach a fully or partially online course, who are interested in learning about developing such a course, or who may already be teaching an online, hybrid or technology-enhanced course but would like to incorporate some additional research-based teaching and learning strategies. This interactive, online workshop has been designed to align with the Quality Matters rubric.  For more information, contact  ctse@suffolk.edu.

Senior Portraits 2018! Times will be forthcoming but mark your calendars.

Northwestern Mutual is selecting full-time college students for our Top Ten Financial Representative Fall Internship Program in our Boston & Woburn, MA offices. We are seeking highly motivated juniors & seniors that are looking for a fast-paced, hands on learning experience. This is an opportunity to become a licensed financial representative, receive top notch training and mentorship, and ultimately start your career with Northwestern Mutual.

Financial representative interns ask clients questions to understand their financial goals. They come up with creative financial solutions, with the help of their team and our company, to put together the best financial options for their clients. Our students have the opportunity to shadow full time financial representatives, as well as run client meetings on their own.

Financial Representative Interns receive; compensation, a top-notch training, flexibility for school and sports, team support and mentorship, and most importantly the chance to make an impact on your clients. This is an internship with freedom, flexibility, a faced-paced learning environment and the opportunity to be recognized and rewarded for your hard work. This is a paid internship and student can also receive class credit if approved by their university.

* We are looking for full time college students holding junior or senior status

* Must originally be from the Boston Metro or Southern NH area

* Open to any major - Business related majors preferred

* Must be a hardworking, self-starter

* Must be able to work with a team as well as individually

12:15 PM - 1:00 PM CUES Lecture Series: Andrea Lewicki & Ed O'brien
Andrea and Ed will discuss ZNE sustainability endeavors and internship opportunities!

Andrea Lewicki has been the Animal Care Coordinator at Zoo New England (ZNE) since August 2015. She is the secretary of ZNE’s Green Team, helping to promote sustainability as part of ZNE culture. Additionally, Andrea is a member of the State of Massachusetts Animal Response Team (SMART). With SMART, Andrea has been deployed 4 times to perform search and rescue after natural disasters, and to assist with the sheltering of animals in large scale confiscation cases.

Ed O’brien works in the Bird’s World unit of ZNE and is the Assistant Curator of the walk-in aviary exhibit. He is a supervisor for ZNE’s Green Team. Through the work of Andrea and Ed have worked with their team to eliminate the use of straws on ZNE grounds and teach sustainability/conservation techniques to zoo visitors.

Pizza and drinks will be provided!
