All Day Madrid Campus: Midterm Exam Period
Dates for specific exams will be published separately and may be subject to change; therefore, students should not make arrangements for any personal plans or travel during the stated midterm exam period. Exams will not be rescheduled to accommodate student travel or other personal plans.
All Day Midterm Feedback Sessions

Ever wish you could ask your students, in-semester, how things are going? Now you can with a mid-term feedback session coordinated by CTSE.

Upon your request, we'll schedule a time to visit your classroom to ask your students to give feedback on your teaching methods and their ability to learn in your class. Here are some of the questions we'll ask your students during the visit:

  1. What are the strengths of the course and the instructor that assist you in learning?
  2. What things are making it more difficult for you to learn and what suggestions do you have for improvement?
  3. What might you do personally to improve your learning in the course?
The student responses will be gathered into a confidential report. Once it's ready, we'll discuss the results with you and discuss ideas for improvement based on what they had to say. Research has shown that faculty members who conduct mid-course feedback and have a consultation raise their end-of-semester evaluations and improve learning.

Request for a feedback session by filling out this form.
Start Day Off Campus & Commuter Student Appreciation Week (Multi-Day Event)

Off Campus Student Appreciation Week is held each semester and is hosted by the Off Campus Housing Office in collaboration with the Student Government Association, various departments and student organizations. We acknowledge the extra effort off-campus students make to each day with a week dedicated to their effort in commuting, getting involved, and staying active in the Suffolk Community. The week includes events such as Coffee Stops each morning, an Appreciation Social, Bingo Night, and Community Service in the Boston area.

8:30 AM - 10:00 AM Commuter Appreciation Week: Coffee Stop
Swing by the Sawyer for some (FREE) freshly brewed Starbucks Coffee and treats. In an effort to stay green, we encourage you to bring your own travel mug to fill up!
