All Day Sukkot (Multi-Day Event)
Jewish holyday: Sukkot (the Festival of the Huts) takes place 5 days after Yom Kippur (the Day of Atonement) and commemorates the 40 year period that the Jewish people wandered in the desert after their enslavement in Egypt, during which Moses was given the Torah on Mt. Sinai and they lived in temporary shelters. The Season of Our Rejoicing, as it is also known, is celebrated by building asukkah (hut) that Jews make their “home,” where they eat, entertain, and sometimes even sleep for the 7 day festival,in thanksgiving for G-d’s protection and the harvest.[i]  Begins at sundown the evening before.
All Day Madrid Campus: Midterm Exam Period
Dates for specific exams will be published separately and may be subject to change; therefore, students should not make arrangements for any personal plans or travel during the stated midterm exam period. Exams will not be rescheduled to accommodate student travel or other personal plans.
All Day Midterm Feedback Sessions

Ever wish you could ask your students, in-semester, how things are going? Now you can with a mid-term feedback session coordinated by CTSE.

Upon your request, we'll schedule a time to visit your classroom to ask your students to give feedback on your teaching methods and their ability to learn in your class. Here are some of the questions we'll ask your students during the visit:

  1. What are the strengths of the course and the instructor that assist you in learning?
  2. What things are making it more difficult for you to learn and what suggestions do you have for improvement?
  3. What might you do personally to improve your learning in the course?
The student responses will be gathered into a confidential report. Once it's ready, we'll discuss the results with you and discuss ideas for improvement based on what they had to say. Research has shown that faculty members who conduct mid-course feedback and have a consultation raise their end-of-semester evaluations and improve learning.

Request for a feedback session by filling out this form.
All Day Online Course Design Institute
