Event Description:

The Suffolk University Law Review presents the Honorable Mark L. Wolf, speaking on the topic of “Why the Fear of an Evidence-Based Copyright Law?” as part of the Donahue Lecture Series.

The Honorable Mark L. Wolf was appointed to the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts in 1985, and served as its Chief Judge from 2006 to 2013.  He has also served as a member of the Judicial Conference of the United States, Chair of the Committee of District Judge representatives on the Judicial Conference, and on the Judicial Conference Committees on Criminal Law, the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure, and Codes of Conduct.  Judge Wolf is a graduate of Yale College and the Harvard Law School.

The Donahue Lectures, instituted in 1980 to commemorate the Honorable Frank J. Donahue, bring outstanding authorities in various fields of law to the University community and often provide the basis for a lead article to be published in the Suffolk University Law Review.

All guests are invited to attend a reception following the lecture.  No RSVP required.  Seating will be first-come, first-served.
