9:30 AM - 6:30 PM The Final Test -- Suffolk University's 1st Mock Trial Annual Invitational Scrimmage
Suffolk University is launching our new mini-scrimmage that we are hoping to turn into a tournament in the future. This 2-round scrimmage will be held right before Regionals, on Saturday, January 23rd, 2016. While smaller than your full on, typical invitational tournament, this new scrimmage titled 'The Final Test' will be nothing short of what the title itself says. A maximum of 8 teams will be allowed on a first come first serve basis. The scrimmage is FREE of charge, and will be held at the Suffolk law school, making use of all 3 of our prestigious and stylish courtrooms, as well as one other room. We will also have a good pool of experienced mockers, law professors, and current attorneys as judges, to provide teams with last minute, valuable feedback on both content and performance. If you are interested in attending, please contact mocktrial@suffolk.edu for more information! Once our list of 8 is complete, teams will be placed on a wait-list which will be published on our website (suffolkmocktrial.org) by order of registration. This high profile scrimmage will feature the following competitors: Brandeis University Stonehill College Wellesley College University of Maine Suffolk University Coast Guard Academy Clark University Wesleyan University Teams are expected to be on the 4th floor of our law school at 120 Tremont Street, Boston, MA 02108, by 9:30am. The event will run until 6:30pm. Suffolk Students are always welcome to watch!
