2014 So Fit and Stress Less Wellness Program

The fifth annual So Fit and Stress Less Wellness Program for employees and students, sponsored by Counseling, Health and Wellness Services and the Human Resources Office, will be held from February 3 through March 2. The registration deadline is Tuesday, January 28.

This year, the program will focus on helping the Suffolk community establish life balance and reduce stress through various self-care methods.

The program has been improved due to the feedback from last year. There are fewer questions to answer each week, and challenge is by choice. Participants also have the chance to win weekly prizes in addition to the two grand prizes, Beats by Dr. Dre headphones and a Kindle.

Visit: http://www.suffolk.edu/campuslife/9243.php to register and for more information

If you have any questions about the Wellness Program, please email sofit@suffolk.edu.

9:00 AM - 7:00 PM "The Mirror of Race: Seeing Ourselves through History"

The Adams Gallery at Suffolk University presents The Mirror of Race: Seeing Ourselves through History, a photography exhibit that challenges viewers to think about what they see when they look into this mirror onto an earlier time. Interactive elements suggest reflection about how one sees race – in oneself and in others.

The exhibit includes daguerreotypes, tintypes, ambrotypes and other forms of early photography as well as prints from tintypes made by an Air National Guardsman deployed to Afghanistan. Ed Drew’s modern-day tintypes are believed to be the first battle zone photographs using this method since the American Civil War.
